Area salon’s work selected for INSPIRE, America’s most
popular line of professional hairstyling books

What's New The Salon of Murfreesboro, TN, is helping salon clients across the U.S. choose the hairstyle of their dreams.

The salon’s work by Lindsey Haynes and Karina Kingsnorth was selected for publication in “Volume 84—The Men's Issue” of INSPIRE, America’s most popular line of professional hairstyling books.  Stylists and colorists use these books to aid salon clients in visualizing exciting new styles—styles that clients might not otherwise consider.

What's New The Salon (www.whatsnewthesalon.com) has established a reputation for excellence for 34 years.  A member of the American Board of Certified Haircolorists, a Schwarzkopf Diamond Salon and "Best Salon" according to readers of the Murfreesboro Post in 2011, What's New The Salon was published in INSPIRE Volume 82: Color.

"Working with men was different. Our models were not used to playing to the camera," owners Steve and Sandy Haynes said of their photo shoot. "But one of them was Colton Dixon -- before his season of American Idol aired. It was wild!"

Specializing in hair coloring, What's New The Salon also offers cuts, hair extensions, specialty hair styling, manicure and pedicure services, and skin and spa services, among others, along with professional salon products by Wella, Aquage, Paul Mitchell, Bosley Pro, OPI, Dermoalogica and Cosmedix.
